Well have just read over my last post and can not believe that it was so long ago! I can't believe that we will be at the middle of the year so very soon.



Life has been good for us so far this year. I am loving training to be an Ambulance Officer. We have just got two new permanent people for our station and they are lovely ladies that I have crewed with on many occasions. I look forward to learning from them in the days, months and years to come!



Am still trying to get a new job that is closer to home for me. Especially now that I am wanting to spend more time down at the station doing my shifts here. Funny isn't it how I would rather spend more time doing Ambulance when I don't get paid, then I would going to my paid job! I guess that life is like that sometimes!



We are up up and away to Australia at the end of this month. Was a spurr of the moment decision to go. We were away in Tauranga a couple of weekends ago and we thought why not go. We weren't going to go overseas this year, with getting married in November, but then we thought why not! It's cheap enough to go over there at the moment, so it is all booked and paid for. Can't wait, infact one of the best things about going is that we don't have long to wait which is awesome! Normally when you book a holiday you have ages to fill in before you go, but now we have only just over a week! Haha! Must be time I started to think about what we are going to take with us!



My sister is all settled in her new life in Mexico. They seem to be loving it and are looking forward to moving into their own place very soon. I look forward to hearing from her and finding out about all the exciting things that they are up to over there.



Well thats about it for now. I hope that it isn't another 6 months before I place another blog! Take care out there, but safe and always look after each other.

What happened to January?

I can't believe that we are not only over and done with January but we seem to have got almost to the half way point of February! Well they do say that time flies when you are having fun...



Well this year is off to a great start for me and Farmer Brown. I have started my volunteering with our local Ambulance Station and love it. I can't believe I didn't think of doing something like this ages ago. Who would have thought that it could be so rewarding for me. What a wonderful group of people to associate with also. An amazing team who have the greatest pleasure in looking after their community.



Our wedding plans are well underway now. Almost everything is set and ready to go. We have paid the deposits on all the big stuff and now it feels like November is going to be so long in coming!

Well the New Year is upon us and so far what do we think? I think there is plenty of potential for everyone out there if they chose to take it. For me I have lots of exciting things happening...

Am starting to volunteer with our local St John Ambulance station. Am looking forward to meeting new people, making new friends and helping out our community.

We have set a date for our wedding and so there is plenty to organise, arrange and plan for. Very exciting for the both of us!

Well it is time for me to have a nap before we carry out our plans for today.
